PAPAD AUR PANEER KA SAAG



INGREDIENTS

Paneer                       500gms
Poppadoms                 10 nos
Onion chop               300 gms
Yogurt                      300gms
Ginger paste              75 gms
Salt                            to taste
Red chili pwd            10gms
Turmeric                   10gms
Coriander pwd          20gms
Garam masala pwd    10gms
Oil                             100ml
Cumin seeds              5gms
Garlic paste               50gms

METHOD
  • Heat oil add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  • Add chopped onions and cook them till golden brown.
  • Mix all powdered spices, ginger and garlic paste in yogurt and mix well and smooth.
  • Add this mixture to the onion and cook well.Add water and thin the consistency of gravy. Adjust salt.
  • Cut paneer into small cubes and roast poppadoms and break them.
  • Add paneer and poppadoms to the gravy and simmer for two minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander.

TIPS
You can avoid putting paneer to make it just papad ki saag.
Preferably use Lizzat Poppadoms.
Even if you don't roast poppadoms its OK.
